The bells are clanging away tonight - think I am thirsty so I have been drinking a lot of water in the hope that it will quieten the desire to crack open a bottle.

Most of my real hard drinking buddies I left behind when I left university and that was years ago. Since then my friends are friends first of all and then drinking buddies second. We all seem to have calmed down a bit althougha couple of my college friends I still seem to fall back into student patterns with :o.
    Trying to keep in budget.

    Hiya guys,

Hope this finds you all well.

I haven't gone near a drink since Saturday night :-)

Feel very tired tonight, as have been up since about 6/7am, after a pretty rough nights sleep.

I'd put off paying my Vodafone mobile bill (even though I could've paid it last Friday, before I chose to go on a bonkers bender instead..), and at about 12.35am, I had an email from them telling me that they were going to "terminate my account on 12th April"..erm like yesterday! :-/

I called them first thing they opened their phone lines, at 8am, and my Girlfriend lent me the money to pay this off, thank goodness.

Feel indebted to h*ll to her, and it's not a good feeling..

Had a 'Pathways to Work' interview at 9.30am, with an agency who liase with Jobcentreplus, and the girl there was great.

Lovely sunny walk back home..had a brief 'moment' walking past an old pub I used to frequent during my trips to hell....but instead popped into Asda, and picked up a scrumptious chicken and bacon caesar wrap, and orange juice, and sat by the river for half an hour. Realised that I hadn't done this for ages, and had always equated having to drink = relax (load of cr*p!) :-)

Been back home all afternoon, trying to ignore very noisy neighbour, who keeps insisting on playing her music ridiculously loud! Will probably need to have a word with her, but she's very unapproachable..feeling a bit fragile at the moment, and can do without the confrontation. Why though, are some people just so inconsiderate?!

Am about to try and get my head around all of my debts / bills paperwork, as I have my CAB 'Money Advice Trust' appointment tomorrow at 10am..trouble is, I feel shattered!

On the positive side, some DVD's, and a leather jacket I stuck on Ebay are starting to sell, so hopefully (especially if the jacket goes..) I'll be able to repay my Girlfriend next week, and chip away at one of the debts.

I'm seriously considering going for a Debt Relief Order, but really don't know yet.

As you said on here Graeme, it's the sobriety that has to come first, otherwise everything else will be lost anyway.

I'm *starting to get AA* the more I think about it these past few days.

    Thanks for 'being here' folks.

Lots of Love, and Big Bear Hugs to you all,

    Sim x
