    Well I'm back smiley-sport018.gif

46 Minutes for 2.34 Miles. According to Map my walk/run I burned 200 calories and sped along at 3mph. I also tackled an elevation of 500ft. Pity it was foggy otherwise France would have been in sight.

Took my walkman and it was funny as my footsteps seemed to go with the beat of the song. McFadden and Whiteheads "Aint no stopping us now" was a good pace but looked a bit like Bruce Forsyth fannying down the steps at the start of one of his shows when Nirvana came on :)

    Time for a rest ;)

By the sounds of it YM and I have most of the periphery of the UK covered :D we see what you see AFTER you get to John O Groats :) - YM sees Francais - handy for all those spy missions :)

I was sooth to take kids to l'airport d'edinburgh - still here.

Galavanting indeed you're just back from an adventure!! - I only galavanted 300 miles.:j

Well done on those reaching targets etc - Shaggy I am one more than yesterday but I won't meet my target so I think I'm a couple less than I thought - - IYSWIM - after tonight I think I'm at 21.

YM you're right - tomorrow never comes

So when we say 'we'll stop drinking tomorrow' it never happens.

Well done on doing things 'today' :)

"Living Sober" has arrived!:T:T Pretty amazing...ordered it yesterday from Amazon on the free super-saver delivery...normally takes ages (do you think they realised I was a wee bit desperate!?;))

A la Fay, I have covered mine in some pretty paper so I can read it wherever I like.:)

Off for a quick read before heading off to Mums....

  • Miss P - Chapter 6 Getting active

'Just stopping drinking is not enough' - 'Just NOT drinking is a negative, sterile thing'............to stay stopped we found we need to put in place of the drinking a positive programme of action.'

    YM's there I think - I need to look more at this - :) enjoy sweetie :)

    Thanks Fay.

I was watching Eden today with one of your fella's (Scot) ;) Ewan McGregor. The programme was "The long way round" and he said that the things that seem to stop most people is the " What if's". What if this happens/that happens That applies to me. What about Xmas/Holidays etc. He also said that if we took notice of the what ifs we would not go anywhere or do anything

Struck home with me for some reason
