Jo, so pleased for you. The interview process would scare the living daylights out of me, but you clearly have 'it'.
You've spurred me on as I'm at the hoping for interview stage...positive thinking and all that.DC.

Interview was rigorous and I was nervous in the morning but to be honest, I love interviews and because I've already got a job and honestly believed I didn't stand a cat in hells chance I went in positive and confident. And when the Headteacher rang me to offer me the position he said he thought I was a very confident and capable person *shruggy* if only he knew :rotfl:DFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -
Oh and another thing, I tried to keep a sense of humour and act 'normal'. I told them about my previous position working for 2 directors, one was meticulous and methodical and my work was set out for me in the morning cos obviously she'd prepared it the afternoon before, then in the afternoon the other director came crashing through the door (I kept this positive and said I enjoyed working with him) and basically all hell broke loose and said that I enjoyed trying to keep him organised and pre-empt what he was going to come running in for.
When he rung to offer the job, he told me that he's the afternoon director by the way  and he hoped I had a very good sense of humour :eek:DFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -
Um - you were half way through the interview before you got there - you're one of the most capable people I *know* -
DO you know how impressed he'd be if he knew the juggling you do in everyday and the hurdles you'd had before you'd even got to the interview................................
Sometimes I wonder if one of the ironic side effects of being USED (past tense) to drinking so often is that you're capable of so much normally - even with the handicap a hangover gives you.
SOBER you're capable of just about anything without managing life with the hinderance of a perpetual hangover.........
Sky is no limit girl!!
(ps sold two dvd's today so my 10.99 a day challenge is off to a good start - I don't count the 'wine saving's' anymore - is that progress?)
