    ah - right.

Chop as much chicken off the carcass as you can, put in pie with veg and a bit of gravy if you have some and make your pie.

Then submerge the rest of the carcass (chopped if you can) in a large pan of water, bring that to the boil and add salt pepper herbs. Simmer for ever (couple of hours at least). Get the bones out (there will still be bits of meat hanging on, pull them off and put back in the pan). Leave til tomorrow, when you add potatoes, etc etc and you have a lovely chicken soup :)

    HTH

  • Jo - staying near Temple tube, itinerary already completely packed - DD2 meeting her old best friend who moved to London 5 years ago at Oxford Circus  then I'm going shopping with DD3, including Abercrombie & F!! Then the next day they want to go to Camden (as usual!) then see some art exhibitions (so that's nice and cultural for them). Then back up north. Can't wait. I've ordered Pizza Express vouchers from Tesco Clubcard so that's where we'll be eating in the evening - only problem is that I'll be having some wine with the meal so will have to be CONSTANTLY VIGILANT.

Have a really good half term with your DDs and DS.

And you too, 40SM, with your 3 little DS's! Seems ages since I was able to post more than just a few words, I'm so busy now working full time.

This maternity leave cover ends in July - I think - but the new mum still hasn't said when (or if) she's coming back although I'm sure she will come back. I thought she would have let them know by now she's planning to come back part time, but nothing yet. So I'm starting to look around for my very own job - it's been absolutely fantastic for getting my confidence back into working in the wide world after 15 years freelancing though.

    Right must get on!!!

    Bi for now xx
