Funeral Flowers

Firstly sorry for your loss, and this is not a petty request at all.
I have to agree with the others that I've never been to a funeral where the flowers haven't already been at the church or crematorium but then I've never been to a funeral where everyone starts off from the house. I agreee with Tandraig in that the easiest way is to speak to the funeral directors and see if the flowers can somehow be sent to the house if they are sent to the funeral directors. This would negate the need to have any specific agreement in palce with one particular florist either. I think the florist has been very unprofessional though, she may have thought that you did not realise that your request was not the usual practice but she certainly could have discussed this with you properly, and as for charging for delivery that is just outrageous!0
