Absolute joke o2 is.... Specifically booked a delivery slot for today because there would be someone in... What happens? About lunchtime, I recieve a text saying "Your o2 order has been dispatched and is due for delivery tomorrow"?!?!?! I would have chosen tomorrow if I wanted it delivered then

Oh but it's ok, I'll get a card if I'm out so I can waste petrol going to the depot to pick my parcel up.

    Thanks a lot, o2.

And to think, I was about to sign up for a 12 month home broadband contract with them! :rotfl:

Go easy on them, they had 5000 orders over the weekend and I'm betting most of them were for these dongles. I ordered one saturday morning which they sent sunday and arrived monday. I ordered 2 more on sunday which they should have sent monday but ended up sending tuesday arrived today. Blame Hotukdeals!

The cost of the dongle has gone up to £20 now, looks like to weekend offer of £10 each has finished.
Your right... is £20 now. Then we have to wait for next weekend to get it for £10. Anyway received mine today. Pleased with the find. Thank you.

Your only choice is Vodafone decent enough and had mine nearly a year and not got below £12 yet. (comes with £15 credit when bought) so long as you use it once every 3 months the credit never runs out.

Does anyone have a link to such a tariff?

Online I can only see reference to credits that last 30 days with Vodafone.

What if I already have a 3G Voda SIM with some credit on it.....say £2. How does this £2 get "spent" as I go along? Do I top it up using a normal pay as you go voice voucher, or should I buy some special voda BB voucher. Is the net result the same, or do I get better value one way or the other?

Fair enough... Just a bit annoying that they didn't even contact me to say they couldn't make it for Tuesday. Oh well...

It arrived today, nobody was in and the deliverer just left it in our parcel box.

All's well that ends well. :)

    Anyone?

Oh, and I can confirm mine arrived unlocked/Simfree - invoice even says Simfree. Works with all SIMs I've tried in it so far.

I've been comparing the standard PAYG SIM tariffs on 3 and Voda.

3 gives you 150Mb free internet with every top-up (£5min I think), plus each additional mb is 30p.

VODA by comparison seems a rip off. £1 for up to 15Mb in a day, then £2 per Mb ( YES £2 !!!!)

but elsewhere on the Voda site, it says 50p per day with 25Mb limit

Anyone know what it really is?

Try http://shop.vodafone.co.uk/shop/deals/usb-modem-stick-topup-and-go-white. You can get £10 cashback off the £35 price via the usual sites.

Thanks, but you misunderstand. I already have a dongle via this offer.... I'm looking for the best SIM deal to put inside it.

I will have very infrequent use, so need credits that wont time out every month....
