I purchased on Jan 24th and am yet to receive my points. I emailed them after 28 days, and was told to wait 21 days after which nothing has happened. So I just phoned them and was told that I should wait a further 21 days for them to be added to my account but I should definitely get them so long as her supervisor agreed. I don't get how a) the system didn't automatically add them within 28 days if it has recorded my purchase b) how they can't respond to an email within 21 days, c) how most people got them added at the end of last week, but not a few of us and d) how it can now take a further 21 days if the supervisor agrees when other people were told 5 days, and the supervisor has no authority to change the terms of their deal and decide if he will allow it, even though they are happy that I met the terms of the deal.
Ahhh, rant over. She did however congratulate me on having "an excellent points balance of over 18,000 points". Anyone who wants to call, try using 0800 402402. It puts you through to BP, and press option 1 to speak to nectar, and you get a free transfer rather than paying for their 0844 number.0 -
Emailed them after 28 days, they emailed back saying it would be 21 days which was yesterday.
Rang up today and after explaing what happened about 5 times to an awful customer services rep he put me through to a "senior" customer services rep who went away for about 20 seconds, came back and said the points will be added today because it has already taken more than 21 days and they have

Really pleased.

Well I have just tried again and told them that other people have received points straight away. And the first customer services agent told me that I have to wait and noone can ever have points added straight away as it takes 21 days and my sources are incorrect. I then asked to speak to someone more senior and he told me that if I wished to have my opinion, then I could speak to her, but it would make no difference. I then spoke to Glenda, who told me that they didn't reply within 21 days to my email because o2 didn't reply to Nectar. And that now I had to wait another 21 days to see if o2 responded, although she is aware that o2 have a backlog of orders. It might not be 21 days though as she wouldn't really like to give a timeframe for when o2 might respond. So essentially, I have already waited 50+ days and it will take at least 70+ days for a response, but it could also take indefinately longer. I am so glad that they value my custom...£18.75 is quite a lot of money when I am a student, and I am sure they wouldn't like it if I took 70+ days to pay my credit card bill or shopping bill because I had to confirm with my friend that I purchased the items. Grrr....:mad:0

Chased today and have been told that they can see I took up the offer via the Nectar page but they are still waiting for confirmation from O2. I have to wait another 3 working days before they can do anything else - not sure why they are giving different people different responses but hope we will all get there in the end!0
