Rictus - Hope you get something sorted on the van soon - don't risk driving around in a death trap, sometimes you have to cut your losses and pay out for something newer and safer.

Back from town - it's doing that yucky drizzle that soaks you through so I'm feeling a bit damp around the edges.

Just having a spot of lunch and a cup of tea before tackling the ironing.

Well for now i think i have to. Only other thing i can afford is someone elses junk. So i think il sort the number plate problem(that i didnt even tell you i dont think? ) and hang on until the mot and see what my options are then. In 2 months time i should have earned an extra 2k so could have £1500 or so in my account you never know. Will just have to hang in there.

    Afternoon All

I went to bed at 9pm yesterday feeling pretty carp and hoped a good nights sleep would see me jumping up this morning full of life, but it didn't happen. Still feel carp!!

Need to get the housework done though and some ironing whereas all I want to do is sit on the settee all day

    Afternoon.

My plans for today are sort and clean the kitchen, hopefully get a load of stuff taken to the tip, and watch Leeds thrash Spurs.

Then tomorrow, dad's coming round (for the first time in three and a half years) to set up my new telly and put up some shelves, and then I'll watch 24 on my new 32" tv, yay!
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

    Hi, BTW.

    Hi Ste

I was drooling when the Hairy Bikers made their French Onion soup with brown ale and cheese bread

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Not a fan of french onion soup (despite liking onions).

Brown ale on the other hand...
