It would be alot quicker and easier to tell you whats right with it. Just draining my wallet, never mind the fact road tax is out end of this month(£104.50 for 6 months or £190 for a year) The mot is out in March, which i reckon il be told not worth fixing at all especially with the bodywork in the condition its in. The back door doesnt shut properly, has to be slammed and even then just catches a little at the handle, theres a gap at the top. Its obviously started sagging on the hinges. The exhaust just got done for £65 and now it has burst again needs a new cat, quoted £150 :( Its so noisey i hate driving it when before iv loved driving in the cars iv had. Passengers window doesnt go down, passengers wing mirror(despite being a new one) the mirror wont move and im not forcing it to risk breaking it. The gearbox seems to be on its way out, the tires will need replaced soon i think and basically im fed up of such a waste of money, it hardly even gets me from a to b.

    not good then

  • Oh rictus that's not good. Sounds as if it is on it's last legs which is utter pants. Maybe you should look at getting a new van, but only if the figures/finance add up?

Claire - I can't wait to see your new project. Roll on payday so I can look at buying one of your delectible items.

Good morrow to thee DFWers

I ran 5 and 1/2 miles last night with run club and it felt great, no feeling horrible afterwards and I'm not aching this morning :T

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.
  • Rictus - as Claire suggested could a family member sign as one for you?

Claire - that's rubbish about the fees. I will do at some point next month.

Linda - well done on the run!

I dont know what there credit rating is like. I did ask my dad before xmas and he said stick it out with the van over xmas and if i still want to do this get back to him with figures etc. So he might possibly do it. Does that mean they just check his rating and not mine?

Well done Linda. I'll be running today but I reckon about 2-3 miles. Haven't ran much so have to ease myself in.

Going via Netto where they have vegetable seeds for 19p per packet. Hope they haven't all gone!

    Right ironing next!
