Thanks for the idea of buying a cheap handset - I was not thinking of that as I know I need a new handset as this one is needing charging nearly every day now.

I've also discovered online that mobile phone websites sell "clearance" handsets which have been returned. Anyone got any experiences of these - or of the online retailers?

My hubby bought me a new phone for Christmas so I have a Motorola Razr in perfect working order if you want it! PM me your address and I can post it to you this week!

Thank you so very much Linda :T, I've sent my first PM (I think) so if you don't have it now let me know.

Re "whats occurin". Put a person from work in my mind as she had a bet with someone she could get that into a formal meeting with lots of senior people. She had to say that and the person she had the bet with had to get something else in. We had another meeting last week and she used another odd phrase - I need to get her alone to ask her if it was another bet. Only trouble is I forgot what it was! :o I figured I should not write it down in the meeting so if course it went right out of my head.
