on the easyjet website it still shows no flights on tues 11 july from lju to stn

your info seems the opposite jet boy to what i see on the easyjet website

to further speculation about these easyjet flights that are still being cancelled, it would make sense to me that although easyjet know they are going to cancel dozens of flights during the week, it would be better for them to stop selling seats on the cancelled flights and then drip feed the information to the customers instead of call center meltdown with thousands of angry punters wanting to be looked after at the same time

as well as avoiding bad publicity as they seem to be doing at the moment, they should at least publish a statement on their website explaining the problems they are having.

I think this story will break soon, a friend of a journalist is bound to get caught up in it or other media types getting stuck on Ibiza or STN.

Hmmm interesting thread. I do a great deal of travelling (40 - 50 flights a year) all leisure,so at my own expense. I regulary use both Easyjet and Ryanair, but tend to use Scheduled services during peak holiday times as I prefer to pay a little extra for that added protection!

That's because the flights full. If you want to play around with the site chose another date where flights are over £100 then go back and try to book 20 people on it - It will then tell you the aircrafts full as there's not enough seats!

Are they short of flight or cabin crew or both?

Both - There's a general shortage of Pilots and Cabin crew because of the expansion of the Airline industry. That's why it's not only Polish plumbers coming over here to work!

Take that to it's final conclusion and it looks like Easyjet are cancelling nearly half thier flights i.e. those that say "no flights" i.e. full - Tend to think because of your experience you might be panicking others. A lot of flights near the date say "no flights" because that's what they have no availability - they are Fully booked.

as of 1750, the LJU flights in question are still operating. I agree that the current level of flight cancellations is unacceptable but scaremongering (which unfortunately is the inevitable result in these scenarios) is unhelpful. As I said before I suggest you have your trip insured just in case but I don't think it will come to that.
As stated previously NO FLIGHTS listed on the easyjet booking engine appears when the flight is FULL or there isn't a flight on that day. It doesn't necessarily mean a flight is cancelled.
