Hi,

am wondering if someone nice would have any advice please:

I have become self employed and need a contract mobile ( am currently paying £200 on PAYG) but I have applied for 1 contract through Vodafone and been refused.
I don't want to apply for another and get refused and really damage my credit record which is ok ish.
I don't want a new posh handset just a contract for roughly 1000 minutes.

HELP!!!!!
Proud to be dealing with my debt:eek:

TOTAL: £6,437 (04/01/2013) slowly but surely it is decreasing:D

How about a sim only deal?

The credit checks are less stringent because you don't get a new handset. But seeing as though I work for Orange I'd have to promote their sim only deals which are quite competitive. You can get 1200 minutes, 500 texts and unlimited landline calls for £30 a month on a one month rolling contract which is good!

Been self employed wont affect a credit check as credit checks dont list your income, just your credit accounts. Are you registered to vote in your locla area, this is a big thing with mobile contracts. If your not on the roll you are often refused.

You can apply for 3 lots of credit in 3 months with little to no impact on your rating.
