Travelodge 2 night stay

Hello

A friend is getting married in March and my fiance and I have booked a Travelodge to allow us to attend. We wanted to stay two nights but although both nights were on offer for £19 (I think it was £19) if you booked to stay 2 nights the total stay price was £50.

So what I did was book each room separately as though we were staying for two stays of one night each, thus netting us the lower price.

Does anyone have any experience of doing this, and will the receptionist allow us to "join" the two nights together, or will we have to check out on the Saturday morning and check back in on Saturday afternoon?

Thanks in advance!
Rich :)

I did this back in January with no problem, although receptionist had to check something on the booking system when we checked in(?).
  • Did this this weekend on three nights in london. No problem at all. Receptionist just took the card and did something on the system, - that was it.

Did this last year, all we did was inform the receptionist after the first night and she held our room so we didnt have to change.

Well in the hotel I am staying at they are not central to London at all. They're in Newark on Trent.
