thanks very much ... i will let you know how I get on.0

I have been informed the case has been re-appealed?
What does this mean? They couldn't tell me. I'm under the impression the original appeal was declined for a reason I don't know.0 -
You can bet your bottom Dollar that the mortgage application has been vetted by the National Hunters Limited. It will cost you £ 10 using section 7 of the Data Protection Act by lodging a subject Access Request. You will then know the truth0

You have most certainly been vetted by the National Hunters Limited. Your Building society will deny all knowledge of this organisation. You should sent National Hunters a Suject Access Request using section 7 of the Data protection Act and a fee for £10. Then you will know the truth. Believe me, try it0

Big deal they can check whatever they want.
But my question is why would they re-appeal??? Did they check the data first to see if everything is okay and then re-appeal? confused.0 -

I would guess that it was never appealed in the first place and that they are "dragging bushes" with that story to cover tracks (or fob you off).
How long before they come back to you now? Are you still getting the best deal as loads of lenders (including Shabbey...sorry Abbey) have reduced rates while they have been fannying about with this.Happily an ex mortgage broker!0 -

Perhaps the local branch advisor or thier manager has asked another appeal be undertaken as they feel your case is decent enough to be accepted.
Abbey and Woolwich are the 2 prime lenders I try to avoid.0 -
A senior manager within Abbey I was shouting at the other week simply didn't acknowledge that they offered a poor service....it's all based on average times to offer after valuation and average times to post being actioned. The fact that the responses to post are rarely acceptable or correct or that people are genuinely unhappy at the service provided doesn't come into it.Happily an ex mortgage broker!0
