Spa Hotels

Anybody know of any spa hotels or spa days with accommodation that we can visit, prefer 100 mile radius of lancashire/cheshire or would travel further for a good deal and as cheap as possible.

We went to Whittlebury Hall in Towcester about a year and a bit ago. Very nice place. We paid about £100 each including dinner and full use of their "Heat and Ice" facility. I think we bought from lastminute.com.

I've never been a fan of spas until I went there. I'd definitely go back.

Lilystar

Hoar Cross Hall and Moddershall Oaks in Staffordshire are both probably within range, and have good reputations. There's also Crewe Hall, which may be a little closer, although I am not sure about accomodation there.

Depends on your budget and where exactly you are.

I have stayed at Grovsner Pulford in Chester and got a good deal on that with a lovely bedroom with beautiful spiral staircase going up to bedroom. Pool, spa ect lovely and very relaxing had some lovely treatments. Can't remember exact price but not overly expensive.

The actual grovsner in Chester is an amazing hotel but no pool ect in city centre site. Think they may even use the facilities above but bot 100 percent sure.

The last drop village in Bolton has good spa facilities, we went at bonfire night and watced the lovely fireworks over hotel grounds from outside big spa pool!! and you can get good deals too.

didn't want to hijack, but after hours of searching for almost the same thing as OP (hotel with spa- 4 or 5* for a few days away after our wedding) i came on here to see if you good people would be able to help and found this thread. looked up all the hotels on it and have just booked the grosvenor pulford one. have been wading through so many hotels over the last few hours and most were either far too expensive or not the best reviews or booked up. i am now very happy and can go back to relaxing for the rest of the day

I know this is probably a bit late but Carden Park is situated in the Cheshire countryside and is described as a hotel, golf resort and spa.
