I've followed the MSN Live Help on this since last week and not one person whose account was hacked has found any malware. When Live Help attempt to restore the missing e mails they find they can't because the info has been wiped from their server. This points to MSN not individual pcs.
Thanks that makes me feel a a little better....
I have noticed though when I checked my Windows defender it had switched itself off without warning. It appears to have happened at the same time as AVG version 9 was downloaded so maybe a potential conflict has occured. My husband checked his machine and his too had been switched off with no warning.
Switched it back on and running a full scan at the moment just to double check....Hopefully this time it'll stay on.0 -

That's the page that had me worried that AVG wasn't picking up on a worm or a virus....:rotfl:0 -
I've checked with Spybot, Malwarebytes, Defender, Avast and none have found a problem. Unfortunately anybody who clicked on the link in the spam seem to have been infected with a worm, and they probably blame the sender of the e mail! That's the page that had me worried that AVG wasn't picking up on a worm or a virus....:rotfl:0 -
