Cyclists in the inside lane

again you are struggling with the letters in front of you
sad really
Fair enough then, obviously as you say, I've completely mis-read this thread.
So, I really really promise I'll never turn without checking my miirror in case you're there, and I promise that even if I don't see you in my blind spot, I still won't turn and flatten you with several tonnes of metal, in case you martial art me from under the car. And I promise you I'll then drive off and won't get you an ambulance.
Happy now?0 -

You do when you're cycling.0

If you dazzle someone with your light, they will lose the ability to see where they are going and will not know where you are. They will know you are around but not where. This doesn't really improve your odds of preventing an impact though I admit it's still safer than no lights at all.
I suspect you have cataracts or some other medical problem. You should get your eyes tested. Being dazzled by a light in no way removes the ability of a person to see where that light is.0 -
Some cyclists should realise not all drivers are their best friends, undertaking is suicidal, and it's never going to be my fault if you want to do it, and I don't see you.
I won't chase you, but if you then decide road rage is appropriate, that's your choice as well.
All I'm saying is you may be very unpleasantly surprised if you find a driver whose first response is to ensure you have no opportunity to use violence, if you decide aggression is the best route.0 -

How many times have you been on your bike and still been able to see after a car on main beam has come the other way?0 -

Now where's that cyclist gone to?0 -

This whole thread is about an idiot cyclist undertaking, then having a road rage fit.
The OP has changed his story but it's clear that either
- his brother saw the cyclist join the main road from a side road and catch up with them and decided to turn across the cyclist anyway
- his brother has no idea where the cyclist came from and turned across him because his observation skills are awful
There is nothing in the Highway Code forbidding cyclists from passing motor vehicles on their left. The motorist is the one at fault.0 -
Isn't it still the same for
the pedest. and cyclis. v/s cars
and
cars v/s vans and lorries:-
