Help please. Used stamps - what to do with them?

Hi everybody.
Long time lurker but now plucked up the courage to post a question.
I do a bit of fundraising for my favourite local charity & for years, they've been collecting used postage stamps. However, due to unforseen circumstances, there is nobody available now to deal with them.
Does anybody have any advice on what to do with them, where to send them in return for cash for the charity, please?
I've a feeling that I'm going to be 'persuaded' to take this on, so any advice would be most welcome.

I think you can send them to Guide Dogs for the Blind - they used to have boxes inside my local eye hospital (not seen the boxes for a while so I am assuming that they still do). Sorry I dont have an address for their HQ.0

Maybe I didn't make myself clear though - I actually want the cash for my local charity rather than the guide dogs. I don't think I can post links yet but it's a canine rescue centre. I know we can get cash for the stamps but don't know how to!
I don't think they get a lot of money back - £10 / £15 a bagful apparently, but it's not bad for something normally thrown in the bin and every wee bit helps.0 -
Why don't you phone up the Guide Dogs people, ask for the person who looks after their donated stamps, and ask them very nicely if they can help you by telling you where they sell their stamps to?Make £2025 in 2025

You are stars - Thank You When I tried googling, I got several forum-type links but this one looks much more trustworthy somehow! Looks like I'm going to be kept busy sorting out the hundreds (thousands??) of stamps collected from the Christmas mail then!
