  • Just noticed that someone wanted good eating places in St Ives:

    https://www.seafoodcafe.co.uk
    https://www.porthgwiddencafe.co.uk
    https://www.porthminstercafe.co.uk

All highly highly recommended and best to book in advance as very popular(especially if you want a window seat ) Wish I was there!!! The last few times we have been at Porthgwidden and Porthminster (Which are right on the beach) we have seen pods of dolphins jumping in the sea - coupled with the best sunsets in the world - unbeatable.

Myself, the Mrs (5 months pregnant) and our 2 yr old and 1 yr old are staying at the John Fowler site in Looe for the May Day bank holiday weekend. Has anyone got any tips for days out that arent too far (under an hour drive if poss) away?

Anything considered as long as you can push a pushchair around it.

    Thanks in advance

    Ooooohhhhh.... Pavlovs_dog...

just wanted to thank you for the thread. I went to Tintagel today on the way home (with a quick stop at the witchcraft museum in Boscastle) and got some crumbly fudge from Granny Wobbly's. I would have totally missed it if it wasn't for this thread and although the waistband of my jeans isn't to grateful I certainly am! x
