holiday in cornwall

  • depending on when your going you could see one of the eden sessions, I think theres a few tickets left for some of them. I went last year, the concerts at night and the place looks beautiful! (plus with the concert tixs you got free entry to eden before the concert or the day after).

As you are going to eden get there early, as most people didnt arrive till about 12, so it was quite peaceful in the morning.

try your local Tourist information as i picked up couple of good guides from there, or try - http://www.cornwalltouristboard.co.uk/xmlbrochurerequest.asp

    hope that helps.

Enjoy the roskilly and kelly ice cream and dont forget to scoff some cornish pasties....YUMM

Roskilly's Farm has a shop and nice cafe but St Keverne is (very) remote.

If you're into pasties, Hayle is the pasty capital of the world - choose between Hampsons and Phipps. Rowes pasties are more widespread and pretty good too.

As for the touristy venues - see the local paper for discount vouchers - usually there are loads.

Oh, and what about seeing a play at the Minack. Even if the play's rubbish, the scenery is brilliant. It's traditional to take a picnic for the interval.

Hey, I'm going there then as well.
This is gonna be a really useful thread - cheers.
And I saw your photo last night. I'll be looking out for ya ;) :rotfl:
Girls are gonna love the way I toss my hair. Boys are gonna hate the way I seem.

I would rather drown with you than watch the surf with someone else

alas, dates are not suitable and its fully sold out, but would have been the icing on the cake  maybe another year :j

info we've had from cornish TIC so far has been lacklustre at best. you guys however are in a league of your own, and put the people who are paid to promote cornwall to shame :T

    Hiya

We always stay here have done for the last 4 years.

Really nice and central. Indoor and outdoor pool plus a manor house with entertainment in the evenings
It's nice to be nutty but's more important to be nice

Did you want a pitch your own tent campsite or a more organised one?

    Who's going on the trip?
