TalkTalk free broadband

I've been with TT for over a year and a few months ago changed to the free broadband for life offer, things have changed since and I'm now moving home, the house I'm going to already has broadband, what are the chances of me getting out of it? If I can't will they transfer it to another person's house? And do they charge?

Help!
2p off is still 2p off!

  • What a good idea i thought!! How wrong could i be?!
I applied for talk talk 'free' BB. Finally got it on 24th May 2006(after an e mail that took one month exactly for TT to reply to)
Computer now takes 15 minutes or more to just load up as a result. OK. I'll go with it but can't send or receive e mails and TT 'helpline' always busy; so busy it justs cuts you off with a 'call back later' message!!
Then i receive a bill for the first month............and it's £60!! Douible what i would have paid good old BT. Now i phoned TT on18/5 and made sure i was correct in thinking that my old dial-up was 'free' until i connected to BB; and i was told it was; i even spoke to the supervisor to double check!! So i wrote explaining all this to TT on 15th June.......no reply..................oh except a letter telling me that(again despite me speaking to another person at TT after many hours holding!!) now my Direct Debit has been cancelled!! Which I told them!! Do they send me another DD form so as i can rectify the situation? NO!! Merely 2 days after receiving this letter they have cut off my landline today and the only people i can call are TT!! Guess what! When i call they say they are busy and call back later and cut me off!!
Is there any TT people out there reading this who could help me??

BT come back; all is forgiven!!
