Cost of electric storage heaters

Hiy, apologies if there are already threads on this, but none really answered my questions. Is there a set rate for the use of electric storage heaters?
Just moved into a one bed flat but only plan on using the heater in the living room. How much would the cost be to have the heating on for, say, 6 hours?
I understand how the heaters work - storing at night when rates are cheaper and such. Is there a set rate e.g 1 hour = £1?
Someone mentioned something about the price depending on the units the heaters use? What is the price of a single unit?I am on economy7.
Again, apologies if any of this has already been stated in another thread but i've found myself more confused than anything lol.
Thanks alot to anone who can help me.

All you can do is ask your energy supplier. Ring them up or look at a previous bill if you can get one. It certainly won't be £1 per hour for one heater !0

Nobody can answer that question without knowing the rating of the heater.0

You are on Economy 7 so your night storage heaters will switch on for seven hours over night to charge up, probably between 1 am and 8 am, it varies from area to area.
The cost of your night rate uits should be shown on your bill or you could ring up your supplier and ask.
As an example Ebico in the East midlands charge 15.94pence/Kwh day rate and 5.16pence/Kwh night rate.
Night storage heaters come in different sizes so could be 2Kw or 3Kw or even more, look on the rating plate on yours.
You could just multiply the rating in Kw say 3 by the number of hours 7 and the rate 5.16 to get a nightly cost which here equals.£1.08.
It should be less than this as the amount of charge is regulated by the input control(thermostat).
This should give you a rough idea though. That gum you like is coming back in style.0
