Virgin Mobile / Live Messenger Signin

Hi,
Any ideas why Windows Live Messenger will not sign-in on Virgin Mobile phone?
Internet is accessible.
Password, etc is ok (works from a PC)
It used to work, then just stopped.

I have tried downloading the settings via the Virgin website. Any other ideas?

  • I had exactly the same issue, just would not let me sign in at all until I downloaded the MSN Messenger app from the Ovi store (I have a Nokia 5800). Now it works perfectly! What handset do you have? Try downloading the app if you can.

    It is a Samsung Toco Lite. Will try that thx.

    Virgin sent me a text a while ago saying they were changing the way customers could access it. The text said you would not be able to access through the app from January and to bookmark the following link to access MSN Live Messenger in future. Link below:
