I earn enough to get it for 17.50 as I am under 35. This reserve thing sounds like a red herring, why do they even offer it, why not just give a £150 od surely the risks are the same. I guess they want to make that 22 a week they charge! what a debacle!

I got a personal reserve too, on a normal account. I didn't even know there was such thing, and the staff add it on without me knowing, until he showed me after opening the account.

I didn't argue back, and just took it. I doubt I would use it.

I think it's just an extra sales target?

Is there a way of swapping the reserve for an od?

The reserve is separate and additional to an OD

I wonder how people use the Premier counter at the branch, if they have that account, without the black card, due to them not being 'eligible' for it!

When you mean premier centre, do you mean a seperate branch for premier customers only? Or is it a seperate section within the branch? Where do you live that has the premier centre?

I don't think the blue card will say 'Premier' on it.

I just hope everyone who applies for the Premier Account can get the black card!

In our area, there's rarely people queueing in the premier/business tills. There must be a lot of premier customers in your area!

It is a separate area within the branch, they are called premier centres I guess most main city branches have them. They are places you can go and watch the news, get newspapers, coffee, photocopier/fax etc etc

    Ok. Sounds good.

I assume there's no need to show the card to go to that area.
