Hi I thought i'd post a thread on here as once again this morning i have been on the phone to Sky. We ordered Sky back in november 09 to have the TV installed on the 3rd December, this was done with the engineer not turning up til gone 6.30pm and calling me at 6pm to try and change it to the next day (even though i had to book a day off work for them to come) he came and got the tv installed and all was working fine even though he told me he would activate my card and didnt!!
The next day i called to order the Sky Talk as i got told i couldn't order everything in one go, so i paid the £39.00 connection fee as we didn't already have an existing provider and got told an engineer would arrive on the 10th, the 10th came and went and i called in to find out where he was (again booked another day off to wait for him) and i got told it was because they hadn't recieved my DD instructions (i hadn't even recieved the letter from them asking me this!) i then called in and gave my DD details and ever since then all ive had from them is we have to delete the first order off you account before placing the next order and since december im still waiting for this to happen.
I am now also being charged for next month movies and sports even though we got given a month free when we joined to " try it " out.
Has anyone else had this problem ? if so why does it take them so long ??
