    Who is the ISA with?

When I transferred my ISA to NatWest, I was forced to open a savings account to go along side it. I was told that any over payments into my ISA would be directed to the savings account.

Same here, seemed to be a sensible thing to do.

Obviously the new funds haven't hit yet which is why they think I can still credit an amount...
  • My boyfriend did this, his bank just sent the overpayment back where it came from.

Even if they didn't, you could transfer it out yourself I presume.

When I rang the ISA helpline and suggested this he said not to transfer it out... didn't say why but he seemed very certain that was not the way to go....

Having said that, I wasn't very reassured by anything he said to me
