to make you all giggle - my Mum, bless her is flying this weekend for only the second time ever. Her and my Dad are going to Canada to see my sister. It's her 60th birthday whilst flying and her friend has told her that whenever it is someone's birthday, all the crew sing happy birthday and you get a cake. She said she was really worried because it would be so embarrassing...
I told her that perhaps if they knew and you were in First Class etc they might do something but as I'd only ever flown Ryanair, if it was your birthday with them, they'd chuck a Jaffa Cake at you, shout Happy Birthday and then ask for 90p for the cost of the Jaffa Cake. I told her to look out for the pilot dressed as a clown and them turning the aisles into a ball pool for her
Bless her.......she's a usually very intelligent woman but thought because passports have dates of births, she believed her friend!!
