Need a PUK code for an 02 phone

My teenage daughter has managed to lock herself out of her 02 phone whilst trying to put a PIN lock on it. It tells her to ring SOS but when she rings the phone immediately hangs up.

I have gone to the 02 site and the unlock my phone section where it asks you to put in you mobile number to get the puk code - I put her phone number in and it says:-

"We are unable to find a PUK code this phone number. Please note that we can only provide PUK codes to O2 customers"

She has been using this 02 sim card for at least six months and putting credit on every months (she is PAYG) so I assume she fits the 02 customer criteria so why wont it give her a puk code?

She got a new samsung phone at christmas, had it unlocked and put the 02 sim she has been using for months in could this be the problem I think the phone was an Orange phone originally?

Customer services is closed, I have tried the online help - which it isn't at all helpful - and when the helpline opens in the morning she will have left for college. Being a teenager obviously being without her phone is a fate worse that death!!!:rolleyes:

Any suggestions greatly appreciated to save my ears!

I'm afraid there is nothing you can do until CS opens in the morning if the web based tool doesn't work.
