Hi i'm trying to get my head around reclaiming PPI i have on a cahoot loan taken out in 2005. Basically what i am trying to work out it was constitutes mis-selling of PPI (and yes i have read the threads around). I work for the NHS so get a very good deal in terms on Sickness, redundancy etc. Am i able to claim for mis-selling on the basis that no proper consideration was given to my personal situation and that PPI was inappropriate for me?
I would appreciate any advice!

Hi there
Did try to respond to you earlier but my puter started playing up, so I am sorry for the delay in posting to you.
Even though its been some years, I worked for the NHS and like yourself get some good deals in case of the unfortunate did happen.
I would give it a go, and also check for any other reasons as well that may apply to you in this link here:

You will come across useful info with a checklist of reasons, template letters and so on.
They have 8 weeks in full to respond and post by recorded delivery for your proof of posting.
Give it a go, please keep us posted and ask for help anytime good luck.;)

Just to update this. Received a letter today offering me full rebate plus 8% interest so am very happy - didn't even have to send more than the initial letter!0

Hi there just out of interest did you send the letter to the Cahoot compaints department or to Santander?
I have a claim that I logged with Cahoot a few weeks ago just wondered whether they are dealing with them directly or passing them on.
Thanks
