PPI Reclaim advise

Hi i'm trying to get my head around reclaiming PPI i have on a cahoot loan taken out in 2005. Basically what i am trying to work out it was constitutes mis-selling of PPI (and yes i have read the threads around). I work for the NHS so get a very good deal in terms on Sickness, redundancy etc. Am i able to claim for mis-selling on the basis that no proper consideration was given to my personal situation and that PPI was inappropriate for me?

I would appreciate any advice!

Just to update this. Received a letter today offering me full rebate plus 8% interest so am very happy - didn't even have to send more than the initial letter!
  • Hi there just out of interest did you send the letter to the Cahoot compaints department or to Santander?

I have a claim that I logged with Cahoot a few weeks ago just wondered whether they are dealing with them directly or passing them on.

    Thanks
