The whim of ebay?
Or the whim of nicorette perhaps. There appears to be nothing specific in the T&Cs referring to the problem. What page did they refer you to?My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
We had this question a while ago. The answer then was that any item that is available on prescription, even if you can also buy it over the counter, cannot be sold on ebay.

It was all to do with tha fact that the wording is not 'prescription only' but items 'available on a prescription'.

How does that explain Nicotinell being sold on eBay as it is also available on prescription the same as Nicorette.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

Possibly not been reported yet!
You might also find it is something silly like one group of sellers constantly reporting their competitors.
Incidentally, there is also Nicorette currently for sale on ebay.

One on co.uk that evidently hasn't been reported yet... and the rest are on .com (where they probably have different rules)My TV is broken!

Overseas sellers though must adhere to the selling rules in countries they ship to. There was a rush a while back of sellers using ebay.com to sell adult items which are not allowed on ebay.uk, but they still got reported (some are creeping back though).
Also buying medicine/prescriptions drugs from overseas brings a whole new problem with import rules.

The words consistency and ebay don't really go together though :rotfl:

We're all trying to ascribe logic to ebay's actions. Who are we kidding?
