Virgin cable and box

l have virgin cable and box for my tv in my dining room but l would like to have the channels off the box for my tv in the living room. Can l use some kind of splitter with more cable so l can view the same channels in the living room as well. Or from the virgin box add more cable and just use the box and cable for viewing the tv in the living room.
Can someone tell me what l need to get if l can do this and best place to buy.

No,I'm not on VM,Not in my area but have Sky wired round the apartment which, being an ex VM & Sky engineer,I did myself,
It connects to each tv by SCART & wirelessly sends the picture to other TV's,& you can also change VM stations with them without having to go to the room where the VM box is,which you would have to do if you wired it as VM boxes dont support Magic Eye's like Sky's do.
  • Great just what l'm looking for, is there any downfalls on having this..
would it interfere with my wireless laptop which l use in the living room.
Is the picture as good on both tv's as when using the one at the moment.
Would l have to go into the dining room where the box is to change channels.

  • "Easy to set up with excellent quality at the receiving TV. The only downside is that you can't use the remote with a Virgin Media Pace box. This is a problem with the box though as it uses a different protocol for it's IR transmission, so it's not the fault of the Video Sender. I've tested it with the DVD etc,. and it works fine."
