I do appreciate the OP's sense of humour- while they are discussing their problem, it's clear they have a sense of perspective, which is a breath of fresh air these days.

or maybe some lessons in sarcasm for you:rolleyes:

Indeed. While tone of voice can be misunderstood, I don't buy that it's unreasonable to expect forum readers to understand any sarcasm whatsoever.

As an aside: a friend told me of a trip he made to Canada. The family he was with made him raise his hand whenever he said anything ironically or sarcastically. :D

biscit;29070397 prehaps i could arrange your friend to give some lessons in sarcasm to Blackpool_Saver;29063605 and if anyone knows where i can get a DOSE of reality please do let me know as it is clear that i need one, do tesco's, asda or morrison's sell them ????????

The company have phoned me today and have now said that they do not want to arrange for me to send the clothes back but to take them into one of the local stores get the tags removed and they will then arrange for the security tags to be collected from me and that they are looking into the matter.

My foot is sore today so i am reconsidering my compensation claim and surely i must be able to claim £2,00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
in light of the extra soreness LOL :0)

Lol computer user error, prehaps i should settle for computer lessons too
Im glad you see the humor :0)
  • Sounds a bit worrying for the company, it suggests the stock was taken from the wrong place! Or maybe they'd run out of that size in the internet stock and some kind soul snagged it from the shop floor.
Also given that this incidence has led to you being unjustly grumbled at on t'internet you can probably claim another few £1000s for your emotional distress.
Or better still, can you imagine if you developed a phobia of security tags from this incident? You'd need the £1000s to pay for personal shoppers and the like so you wouldn't have the risk of running into tags again. Or maybe you already have this phobia and can now sue them for £1000000s for bringing it into your home (hint hint :D )

Srsly, it sounds like they're doing something about the cause, which is nice. And maybe they'll send you a voucher or something.

Playing too many computer games may be bad for your attention span but it Critical Hit!

I am loving your ideas on personal shopper even better bringing it into my home :0)
I must admit they have shown very good customer services so far apart from me getting a email thismorning thanking me for returning 10 items that i ordered (i never received them)
:0( i expect they were out of stock and thats there way of cancelling that part of my order and there's no more of the items in stock, grrrrrrrrr

In all honesty i'm not after anything my foot is ok although some vouchers would be nice lol.
I just wanted to make them aware of what had happened so prehaps it would not happen again :0)
