O2 Pay and Go – Unlocking
Hi
I have just bought an iPhone off of eBay and it's SIM locked to O2. I am on Orange an I want to stay on Orange. My query is as follows:
If I went to an O2 shop and bought a 'Pay and Go' SIM (50p I believe), put £15 on it, then filled out the O2 'Unlock Request' form would this work? My sceptisim is based on whether I need to be on 'Pay and Go' for a certain amount of time.
From what I've read I think I need to make a couple of phone calls with the SIM first, so as to be able to answer the Security questions.
Does anyone have any experience of this or know whether this would work as easily as it sounds?
This may have been answered somewhere already but I couldn't find it. So apologies in advance.
Thanks in advance.

Go to a market.
Pay a phone unlocking stall £10 or less to unlock it.0 -
Aren't they just going to use Blacksn0w? I'd rather it be done properly soit's a bit more future-proof. With OS 4 just round the corner I'd rather have a phone that was unlocked but not jailbroken rather than neither.0
