Well after a recent visit to Farmfoods i have succumbed & got myself a second hand chest freezer. :money:

I just couldnt believe some of the bargains that they had. The good thing too is that years ago when i first went in there they didnt sell alot of branded goods, mainly there own. Now they have lots of brands available:j
Im new to all this but thanks for your support & patience :A :j

 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

Just been in this morning and got 2 Amanda Smith chocolate cakes for a pound....mmmm!!!

Any idea what those meatball pizzas are like lynzpower? i think they're called 'al forno' aren't they? they were in the 2 items for £1 freezer in my local shop.

the meatball pizza's are yummy, kids had a whole one each and none was wasted.

Anybody know if they still do the chinese curry powder? Used to love that stuff but did not see it last time I was in.

Its a shame that Farmfoods is looked upon as some kind of 'naff' shop because the bargains are really good. The one I go in is usually quite empty of shoppers, and its a nice clean/airy shop with decent assistants. (STOCKPORT,Heaton Norris by the way)

Been for my first visit tonight not bad saw the 40p freezers and 60p freezers and 2 for a £1 has anyone tried the Thai Chicken Meals, I noticed they had the Coppernaith& Weise ??? Products which are expensive in Makro, not a bad store will visit again
  • My local Farmfoods is seldom crowded, but I keep getting stuck behind one of those customers who spends about £85 on a massive trolleyload of stuff!
I got overcharged today though - a pack of chicken meatballs from the 40p freezer went through at 59p, but this was quickly corrected when I pointed it out.
Both the Farmfoods shops in my town currently have Heinz Pure Fruit baby food at £1 for 10 tins. You don't have to be a baby to enjoy it - it's basically just pureed fruit, which is very nice with crepes and ice-cream.
