I often go in Farmfoods as you can be sure of some great bargains.
Last week they had 3 freezer fulls of all dessert type things at 2 for £1. These included the named (McDougalls i think) 4 pack of individual apple lattice topped pies which are normally £2 per pack in Tesco, 10 pack of jam doughnuts, 6 pack of jam and cream doughnuts, Cadburys chocolate gateaux, Aunt Bessies spotted !!!!!!, Heinz large custard apple and raspberry pie, McDougalls cinnamon danish pastries and pecan pastries.
There was more but cant remember what. These are the things i got and you have to be so careful to not get carried away and then find when you get home you havent got room for them in the freezer.
Other items they always seem to have which we get are Tuc cheesy biscuits (Tesco etc about 60p per pack) 3 for £1. Kitchen roll 4 pack for £1 (cheapy name but good stuff or you can get the kitten one for 3 for £1). Ambrosia semolina (price marked 79p per tin) 2 for £1.
They are now doing a small fruit n veg section with all items being either £1 each (melons, grapes etc) or 2 for £1 (tomatoes, mushrooms, bananas etc). I notice you get a good lot of bananas in the pack.
Some of the mega bargains we have had were 3 x 200g bars of cadburys chocolate for £1. 2 x selection boxes for £1 (these were the sizes where you got about 7 full size bars of choccy). I got a load at easter and gave some to the kids as well as a small egg, they were stock from xmas but had dates on them right up to about August time.0 -

So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
They do 2x2L bottles of milk for £1.60. Works out at 80p/2L or about 90p/4pints so much cheaper than anywhere else. My nearest one that I know of is near my Auntie (16 miles away) so every time we visit her we stock up on milk and stick the surplus in the freezer.0

We love their own brand pizzas, quite large, really nice sauce and £1 each. :j
Also their milk is 2x 2 litre cartons for £1.50 :T . Snack cakes/biscuits for the kids are a great price, their frozen veg is good, but personally I don't like their chicken breast fillets - they taste bland and feel like they are artificially pumped up in size.0 -

The Bird's Eye Steamfresh veg were in the 40p cabinet, I love these for quick veg with a dinner when we are in a hurry. Just pop them in the microwave - very nice, normally about £1.39 in tesco.0
