Iphone replacement batteries

Is the best place to get a replacement battery for an Iphone from Apple itself?
Or can someone recommend a reputable dealer in the dorchester/weymouth area.

Or is there anyway that I can do it myself?

    Apple don't actually replace the batteries, they just give you a refurbished handset and it costs £59. There are loads of guides on youtube, if you fancy a bit of diy.

    I will have to restore the phone to an unjailbroken state first then before I contact Apple?

    Do you know roughly how long it takes from sending the phone to apple and getting another one back?

    Not sure but if you have an Apple store nearby, book a genius appointment through the Apple website and they will be able to advise. They could swap it out there and then (not 100& sure) and I would do a backup and restore on the phone before bringing it in.
