Just thought i'd let you guys know (if you don't already).

Looked at my vodafone bill for December and am quite surprised to see that I haven't been charged for any text messages which I have sent whilst in Australia (if i was on a vodafone network at the time of sending them). Was expecting an absurd bill, but it wasn't half as bad as expected.

I am on unlimited text/unlimited internet/600mins anynetwork/vodafone passport.

I've never read about this anywhere on there website, is it something new?? Or am i just lucky??

Well you are on vodafone passport so that explains it.

It maybe that the Oz network hasn't passed the billing info to Voda yet. It can take a while to come through, so maybe on your next bill.

Yeah, i've got my phone calls on the passport however i thought that texts didn't come out of your bundle and you would be charged!!

I do have some billed usage for another network which my phone must have jumped onto whilst we were in bongo bongo land!!

The texts are there on the bill with a zero value beside them, then on a separate part of the bill there is my message centre number and vodafone oz itemised out too with a zero value on!!!

We'll see next month i suppose
