Hi when I lived at home I had virgin media hd and have now moved out to my own place and have got virgin media tv channels, but just the basic box. Does anyone know if it is possible to use my old hd box, to utilise the recording facilities at my new address with my new service.
many thanks

You do,
OP,the box is VM's property &,if not returned, you get billed around £250.Plus the box wont work as it'll be blocked off.0 -
O I dunno then not asked for it back and also I payed 75 quid for it in the first place.0

Trust me,you payed £75 set up fee,not for the box.Read the T&C's here:

Section E.Using our equipment- Where we hire equipment to you it will be our property at all times and we may need to alter or replace it from time to time. For us to do this, we will need reasonable access to your home .
And I DO know, having worked for NTL/VM since 98 as an Engineer until redundency.0
