As silvercar points out, even using the most conservative of figures the developer will have made tens of thousands of pounds on this project.

Then there is the interest cost of funding the project and tax to pay on the profit. So easy sitting in an armchair to run a successful business.

Shame you didn't have the neck or the foresight to do it. Think of all that rent money you have wasted since, and the nice little nest egg that a development like this would have given you to buy the house of your dreams.

Its a whole lot easier to come on here and attack others that have been brave enough to take the step that you never did.

Ain't that the truth...... and to wish ill on others as well - which is what really gets my goat....

No houses have been sold (and completed) in our close for 14 months now, and none are currently on the market. So there's no benchmark.
i beg to disagree but facts aren't really that important on this type of forum.

urban myths rule and what is important!!
have revealed that properties in the UK are now selling at around 93 percent of their asking price, showing an increase compared to the 88 percent low that was seen in February of last year. This means that those looking to put in an offer on a property need to be mindful about how much they are offering, otherwise they could find that the property is snapped up by another buyer.
