want haven camp near train station and walking distance of a town

anyone know of a haven camp that is in a nice town with shops,bars, places to eat within walking distance of camp

I think they're pretty much all on bus routes, if that's any help. I phoned and asked last year, and that's one of their criteria. What do you consider walking distance?

I know you asked about Haven so this may be of no use at all, but the Butlins Skegness is walking distance to the station and right by the town centre.

I would also be interested in the answer to this.

it is a fair walk to butlins from the train station, i live on that road,
however the bus station is next to the train station, and in summer you can get a bus every 10/15 mins

its 2 miles from the site entrance to the station following a foot route on google maps

i went to devon cliffs exmouth, that isnt nr a train station or shops, its a lovely place. best beach ive ever seen,, is a big mr t, 2 mins in car away..

as far as i can remember think setons sands is near a town ,one in ayr has a bus running think most of them do have bus running into town
