We need more information to help. What router, what sites work, what sites don't. Is it consistent. Is it wireless, does it work wired.

If you can get to one site, and not another, it sounds like your ISP.. (unless you can get to insecure sites, but not secure).

neither will work when i do it like that, but when i load my web up it lets me on google but not hotmail

the NTVDM CPU has encountered and illegal instruction
cs:oded ip:fff1 op ff 9f ff 00 choose "close" to terminate the application

thanks for this im sure uve got my answer!
  • phone your ISP, they'll tell you whats up, either Talk Talk are doing a funny (traffic shaping, port blocking, etc) (now thats annoying if youve just signed up to that 18 months deal) or youve got some other prob going on, they'll tell you in seconds.

If you go through a proxy can you log on to hotmail I wonder? (someone else explain ;))

Had something similar happen to me. Is everything OK with the old talktalk modem?

My problem was solved by changing one of the settings in the router to do with packet size being received. Can't remember exactly what, but the helpline for the router were very good when I rang them and solved problem straight away.

Done what? Where did you get those IP's from?

Have you set the primary and secondary DNS as specofied by TalkTalk?
