They are one that do it quaterly.

Barclays however do it monthly, and even their cash card account, which isn't credit checked, is reported to your credit file and updated monthly.

Not in my case. When I asked their CS team why it was taking so long, they advised me it's done on a quaterly basis.

Perhaps it varies depending on what account you have / how long you have been with them / etc. In my case it's every three months.

Not in my case either. When I opened 7 vantage accounts back in June/July it took them until November to report 5 of them, the other two are still not showing.....yet !

I'm still trying to get an internal score with mine! I'm still a "99" 1 year on....:rolleyes:
I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂

Lloyds credit scoring is broken anyway.

They subscribe to CAIS (Credit account information sharing), a system wherby they get monthly updates from Experian on the conduct of other accounts.

They have my OH pre-declined for everything because of "Adverse credit reference agency data"; but he has no adverse any more.

They don't have that flag on my account, despite 8 defaults and a BR order!!!

And no, we aren't financially linked.

OH just got approved for a Halifax Reward despite Lloyds not letting him have a thing - and he's credited the account with a salary of £23,500 for over a year now with no charges and no over OD limit since being with them.

Their CAIS system must be broken... like Vanquis' (that's a whole nother story)

Mine is exactly the same. Open 12 months, never been below 4 figures... almost £21k through it, and I've not been offered a fart.

  • so basically they might update it monthly or quarterly...?! :-)

some people have said they pre approve them for credit cards etc, when they log into online banking... not going to do anything until I have had the account 6 months.

Remember they use CAIS, so the account conduct of non-Lloyds accounts will be continually monitored through Experian, and will count toward their internal "Risk" score.
