The way I looked at things when I got confirmed redundancy last month (finish next week, although it was voluntary) was that I wanted to continue doing the best possible job I could, although without going over the top.
The one thing I always think is that you never know when you may rely on or meet someone in the future. One day you may go for a job and the interviewer is someone you worked with. If you leave a good impression that goes in your favour.
OK, its an extreme example, but the best motivation for me is wanting to leave on good terms knowing I did a good job till the very end.0 -

As stated earlier, never burn your bridges as you may come face to face with one of your current colleagues / Managers in a different situation in future & may need their support.Donedoingdebt Lightbulb moment January 2000.
