Well done - worth waiting for!I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Are you considering leaving them?0 -
Well done mirtos, good for you standing up for yourself!! :T
I don't think I'd have been brave enough to mention the flowers/chocolate too but it obviously worked for you :TDon't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. I dont recommend first direct incidentally,
If you are looking for a bank account with
a) easy to understand internet banking
b) staff who speak english as a first language
You could do a lot worse than co-op/ smile. i think they are still giving 12 bottles of wine with smile at the mo - sounds like you need a drink after all that! Co-op & Smile said that they would NEVER farm out their call centres overseas, and this is all over thier literature
Smiles better than co-op IMHO as coop charge you 15 for setting up an OD, whereas smile has a 0% OD of 500 as standard:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

You've just reminded me that i need to ring my bank, they took two payments out twice on different days and refund one them on the third day, but as i live in my overdraft i'm going to try and get some interest back as it was their fault! and they calculate interest based on my ending balance each day

Well done Mirtos :T
I could join in with a rant about Abbey, but I'm leaving it simmering until I go and see them tomorrow. I got no help at all from their call centre in India and to add insult to injury their CS person suggested I took a couple of minutes (on my phone bill!) to answer a customer satisfaction survey. I told him very calmly that I didn't think it was a good idea right now. :rotfl:
Incidently is anyone else aware that if you pay in cash at an ATM (you know those things that are there for your convenience) it takes 3 days for said cash to be credited to your account. :eek:I have plenty of willpower - it's won't power I need.

Thanks guys  Mrs Mug. I'm not really sure whether to leave Lloyds or not - I'm just about to get back my bank charges from them, so I'm tempted to stay because in future they'll KNOW I'm serious when I complain/ ask for my charges back. I'm mulling it over - but will of course consult the DFWs before any final decision!
Thanks Lynz - personal recommendations are the most valuable.
Kathfish - I was so mad, I thought that if I asked for twice as much as I wanted, then at least I'd come out even! worked for me!!!Official Debt Free Wannabe Nerd Club member 095! Debt Now:
