    And since when has this sort of post been either helpful or encouraging?:rolleyes:

    Katiesmum - sorry to hear of all your problems -life does seem to hit you all at one time doesn't it?

    Break everything down into small pieces - as someone has already suggested - contact your OU tutor, explain the situation and get your deadlines put back a bit. Your OH will soon be able to move around a bit - in the meantime he can help you from a sedantry position - peeling spuds, folding washing, etc.

    You're strong - you'll manage - you KNOW you can do it! {{hugs}}

  • Could you ask your DSD's mum to bring her to you in the circumstances? Or is she old enough that as long as you guaranteed to be waiting at the train station she could travel alone? Worried you're starting to get superwoman syndrome - is there anyone else at all who could help you out a bit? These are exceptional circumstances...

    You poor girl! you have my sympathy. Many years ago my husband broke his leg, he was away from home and had to have an operation. We had 3 children under4yrs old.A week later DD2 broke her leg and I had to have my favourite cat put to sleep.
    I can well remember the stress of that time. I used to awake at night worrying about how I'd get them all out if the house went on fire :confused:
    My hubby still managed to go upand down the stairs on his backside to change the babys nappy etc while I cooked/ironed etc.We didnt have to worry about money so were very lucky in that respect.
    Hang on in there, you will come out of this OK!Try not to make yourself ill with over working/worrying.

    It probably doesn't help much, but if you get through this you will get through anything with all this happening so soon after you moved in together.

    From his point of view it must be incredibly frustrating, but of course it's you that has to deal with his frustration, too.
