Nokia N86

Thinking of getting one on Virgin media when my current deal runs. Does anyone have one and what do you think of it so far? Just ending a t-mobile contract with an awful Samsung that I have hated for the last 18 months and don't want to be stuck in the same situation again!

I've had one for about 3 month.
I've no problems with it. the battery lasts about 3 days. The screens good and clear, the wifi works everywhere I've tried it.
GPS works well with either Nokia maps (installed) or Google maps (downloaded).
  • Thanks Jon, The reviews seem pretty good but it's good to hear a layman's opinion too.

What is your signal reception like ? I have just upgraded to one from my 5800. The 5800 held a signal like a clamp. The N86 can barley hold a signal the bar is all over the place.

I can't say I've ever had a problem with signal. At home I'm on full (but I can see the mast from the upstairs window, so no surprise there).

But I've never noticed a lack of reception. I'll have to watch the bars for a while now !
