I've heard great things about Propolis Gel. Haven't got around to trying it yet as at the moment I'm not going to fix something that isn't broken! If I start getting bad breakouts again I'll give it a go though. I'm definitely going to be trying the oil cleansing method; just spent an hour going through shops in Brent Cross though and nowhere sells Castor Oil! Apparently Boots occasionally get stock so may have to keep trying. Or give in and go for eBay.

I can highly recommend this website for skin problems.

A lot of people us the site so lots of feedback on different products.

I found that by cleansing with a gentle cleanser and stop using exfoliators really helped my skin. HTH

  • I've had a similar thing this year and while it's a little expensive I've been using the clinque anti blemish regime and taking boots skin, hair and nails supplements. I'm not sure which one has worked but one of them has so i'm sticking to both!

Absolutely brilliant site! I don't try anything now without mooching around that site for a review first.

  • A couple of days later, skin is acually slightly better. Let's hope this continues and it was just one of those freak occurences.

I did go and buy some evening primrose oil though (two for one in superdrug at the mo). Couldn't find castor oil anywhere, so bought a little bottle of the usual almond oil I used to use and will go back to that for a bit to see how things go.

Yeah Castor oil is proving quite tricky to find for some reason. Apparently Boots do stock it, although they were out of stock when I went in so I ended up getting it from a local chemist.
