    Perfectly understandable reaction.
AutoAid have a very good record of paying out very quickly.

I have been reading posts about Autoaid and checked their website too. £37 per annum for the services they are offering is very cheap really. I am with AA at the moment but my renewal date is next week. I am thinking of going to Autoaid but the only thing that I am not sure is that Autoaid has limited the Home start to £65 on callout and labour. This means that i have to pay ou of my pocket in case the charges for callout exceed that (I assume it will be substantial amount for home callouts).

    Can you advise urgently?

Its worth exploiting the Tesco miswording for Breakdown cover at the moment if you are looking at either covering 2 cars, or want a personal breakdown cover.:

If you check page 8 of the T's and C's of Tesco's (Green Flag ) Breakdown policy, you will see that the definition of "insured vehicle" is

"Insured Vehicle: any vehicle we have agreed to cover and any vehicle you or your spouse/
    partner are travelling in,
provided it complies with the vehicle specifications described in
    General Condition 10. "

This effectively give a Personal Cover, not a vehicle specific cover, saving over £100 on a Green Flag, 2 person policy!

Tesco are looking at changing the wording on this, so act quickly.

If you have a policy already and paid an additional premium of £40, then I would consider contacting Tesco Finance to ask why, when without the additional premimium, youre already covered?

Following protracted discussion with Tesco Finance, they have now refunded my premium, meaning I have the top level of cover for both our cars for £0 :j
