Well, that's at least two banks to avoid like the plague then.

Well I've certainly learnt a few things, I did actually think my dad was a bit special because of the colour his credit card is! I will have a word with him tomorrow.

They gave me a platinum card when I was working part-time only. They were obviously deeply impressed by my earning power then! :rotfl:

I struggle to get my limit raised - perhaps because I've always paid my ccs off in full?? I'm not a good bet for them to make money out of!!

I was refused an increase on my card too, I always pay it off. In fact I had a card that i never used, and the bank wrote to me and cancelled it

I have to fess up here. Once I've paid off my lowest CC debt (only £500 to go!) I've going to get it out of cold storage and start using it again but only because I've a lot more savvy as a result of this site. I'll be using for the weekly shop, putting the amount spent into my esavings account from my current account and then paying it in full when the bill comes in. One way to make a bit of interest to throw at remaining debts (all 20p a year of it, no doubt!).

No idea - although I believe Martin's got an article on stoozing somewhere on the site. Must take time to read up.

    EDIT: Here it is: http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/cgi-bin/viewnews.cgi?newsid1076883546,34894,

Yep he does, I scan read it in a few seconds so probably didn't understand it but sounded like you use credit cards to put money into accounts that generate interest for you that you keep and then pay off the credit card debt.
